I really enjoy writing, especially on things political. I suppose my mild obsession with politics starting at a young age during the 2000 elections. Since then I have worked on numerous political campaigns (both as a volunteer and a paid staffer). I like to write from an unbiased perspective, that is why I will not state my political affiliation in my capacity as a political writer. During college I also wrote political commentary and news for my student newspaper (Xomba kind of fills the void left after graduating). I also consider myself to be somewhat entrepreneurial. That is why I like receiving some compensation for my writing, even though it is partly just a fun creative endeavor. When not writing I am monitoring my stock investments, managing my small home based book selling business, and building niche websites for profit (usually Wordpress). Other than that, I always have a million different ideas scurrying around my head of ideas for entrepreneurial ventures. As if this all wasn't enough, I am also a member of the Armed Services and serve as a "weekend warrior" (unless activated for deployment) with the National Guard. The final component to "me" is my dedication to serving my country, however idealistic and naive that may appear in our present state of affairs.
